The Windkiller is a short-haired wind protector made for shotgun microphones. It fits microphones from well-known brands, such as Audio-Technica, Audix, DPA, JVC, Neumann, Røde, Sanken, Schoeps, Sennheiser, Sony, and others. For reference, check the chart below the photos.

Firstly, the core of the Windkiller consists of high-quality coarse foam. On top of this, Bubblebee’s soft, fluffy imitation fur is used. This faux-fur is not only durable but also highly effective at blocking wind. In addition, it provides a pleasing appearance.

Moreover, the bottom of the Windkiller features a specially designed rubber mount. This mount securely grips your microphone, yet it remains easy to slide on and off. As a result, the microphone stays in place during use while still offering convenience.

The Windkiller comes in five sizes: XS, S, M, L, and XL. Each size has a rubber opening at the bottom. This opening fits shotgun microphones with a diameter ranging from 18mm to 24mm (0.7”-0.9”).

THE BIG MOUNT
Additionally, the Windkiller’s high-performance inner foam and rubber mount are now available in two new sizes: XS and XL. These sizes feature a rubber opening at the bottom that fits microphones with a diameter of 23mm to 26mm (0.9”-1.02”).
