What is the L6 SEPIA Host?
The L6 SEPIA Host is designed for professional users in Live Music, Theatre and the Studio. The L6 is housed in a compact 1U form factor, holding up to 6 modules, 8 channels of audio I/O and chaining/networking capabilities (with the addition of SEPIA patch – coming soon).
It features a sloped rear for efficient racking and thermal control, a redundant power supply unit for show security, and versatile control connectivity options over Ethernet and USB. Additionally, the L6 supports digital option cards for industry-standard connections such AES3, MADI, and DANTE at launch, allowing for simple insertion at both Stage and Front of House environments.
For those who want to work totally in the analogue domain, analogue output via DSUB connection will be available.
5 Variants
The L6 Host is available in 5 variants:
- L6-A1 – Routable Analogue Output
- L6-D1 – AES3 Digital I/O
- L6-M1 – MADI Digital I/O
- L6-N1 – DANTE Digital I/O
- L6-A0 – Fixed Analogue Output
Flexible I/O
Internally, SEPIA is an analogue signal chain from start to finish. However, to integrate into modern workflows, the L6 can provide a variety of industry-standard Digital connections.
Its 6 balanced analogue XLR/TRS input connections and two balanced TRS auxiliary inputs can be routed to any Module or Sidechain input. Digital inputs are provided via the digital option card.
SEPIA Patch
Due for announcement in 2024, SEPIA Patch will add another level of innovation to the already game-changing SEPIA platform.
SEPIA Patch will allow for routing between multiple hosts including the L6, giving users full creative freedom to build signal chains without needing to physically move Modules or compromise on their sonic integrity.
Advanced Design
Every SEPIA L6 Host has been created and cleverly designed to include a unique Thermal system to cool its Modules. Its ventilated sides, rear, as well as its specific shape, allows the L6 to remain quietly cool and stackable.
Individually Powered
Internally, the L6 has 6 separate power supplies to allow each Module to receive the exact power they need to achieve full performance.
In addition to this, each L6 also has a secure, secondary DC input fed by an independent supply, eliminating any system wide dropouts.
