Your rights as a consumer.

Shipping

AKA Pro Audio provides free shipping on all orders valued at $150 or more

Orders valued at $150 or more (Inclusive of GST) will qualify for free shipping to mainland New Zealand excluding remote areas (*please check with us first if you are unsure).

Any orders under the value of $150 (Inclusive of GST) a flat rate of $16.50 will be applied at the checkout.

We strive to fulfil shipments within 1-2 business days from despatch for QLD, NSW, VIC, ACT, TAS (*excluding remote areas) & 2-4 business days for WA, SA & NT (*excluding remote areas).

AKA Pro Audio aims to provide the best shipping service possible for your needs, and although we endeavour to make sure everything is done right from our end, we do rely on 3rd party logistics partners to fulfil our orders. In the event where delays may occur, we will do our upmost to keep you informed along the way, as we understand how important your business is to us! 

Please note, that larger bulky items that need to be palletised will be exempt from our regular shipping policy (above). If you have made a purchase that requires palletisation you will be contacted by one of our sales team members upon the placement of your order.

*Please note we do not offer shipping outside of New Zealand.

Returns

AKA Pro Audio offer a full refund on goods returned in a “new condition” within 14 days of receiving the goods* (*AKA Pro Audio Pty Ltd must be notified by email or phone within this period and goods must be returned in a timely manner at the customers own expense unless the goods were DOA or faulty on arrival in which case please refer to our warranty return policy).

A discretional restocking fee may be applied to any items that have been returned in an unsatisfactory condition*(*open box or damage to original packaging and, or pieces missing etc…) For DOA or faulty goods, please refer to our Warranty policy.

“Personal items” such as microphones *(*Vocal or body worn) or headphones cannot be returned, this is for hygienic reasons. The exception would be for items that have been returned in a “new condition” * (*unboxed & unused). For DOA or faulty goods, please refer to our Warranty policy.  

Special order items

Please note that special order items are exempt from our standard returns policy. This is generally for items that are not kept as a “stocked item” or items that are “made to order” in which we “AKA Pro Audio” are bound by the same terms & conditions set out by the manufacturer or supplier. These specific terms and conditions will be made clear at the point of sale, as it will depend on the products being purchased.   

Warranty

AKA Pro Audio offers a full manufactures warranty, this ranges from 12 months up to 5 years. Please double check with the product information before purchase. Any item that has arrived either DOA or faulty on delivery will be replaced with a new unit or equivalent *(*dependant on availability) this applies for any “stocked item”

Pricing

All pricing on the website is based on the MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) or RRP (Recommended Retail Price) set out by either Manufacturers or Distributors. All prices are inclusive of GST.

Although we endeavour to make sure the pricing is correct at all times, we reserve the right to change the prices without notice at any time, this includes any orders that have been processed in error.

AKA Pro Audio respects your rights under Australian consumer law and strive to act in your best interest as a valued customer. Although we abide by the guidelines set out by the ACCC we are also led by our own responsibility to serve you even better!
