The DPA CORE 4099 Universal Microphone is a supercardioid clip-on woodwind (flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet etc.) microphone with adjustable gooseneck. It represents the next evolution in instrument microphones. OVERVIEW

The DPA CORE 4099 Instrument Microphone is the result of DPA’s extensive research and development into creating the ultimate mic for live acoustic performance and recordings. The CORE 4099 contains a highly directional capsule designed for use in ensembles, pit, stage and orchestral settings. The pick up pattern of the capsule ensures maximum isolation of the musician’s instrument, with incredibly low self-noise and high gain before feedback.

THE INSTRUMENT MICROPHONE FOR CLARINET, FLUTE, OBOE, BASOON… LOUD SPL

The DPA Microphones CORE 4099 Instrument Mic for clarinet, basoon, flute, and other woodwind instruments includes the Loud SPL 4099 variation. This has a dynamic range of 108dB and can withstand up to 142dB before clipping. The CORE, by DPA, is a powerful technology that minimises distortion. In the unlikely event of spill, there are no unnatural, harsh frequencies to deal with. The microphone’s capsule produces a very natural sound, both on and off axis.

In addition, the DPA CORE 4099 microphone can be securely attached to your clarinet, flute, or other woodwind instrument using a velcro strap with rubber mount.
