The DPA DDK4000 Drum Microphone Kit has a selection of mics for the drum kit, designed specifically to put the sound engineer in control of the sound. By starting with the clear, true sound of the entire kit, the engineer has the best starting point to shape the sound wanted for the situation. These mics guarantee a natural and precise sound reproduction of the entire kit. The specific mic placements prevent artefacts, bleed and other shadowing effects.

2012 Compact Cardioid Microphone  

An all-round generalist pencil mic that guarantees excellent results on any instrument on a live stage. It can cope with both high SPLs as well as capture very delicate sounds, so it works well on many different instruments.

2015 Compact Wide Cardioid Microphone 

A wide cardioid overhead microphone for ambient pick up of a drum kit or other instrument groups. The 2015 can be positioned close to the drum kit (i.e., over the cymbals) and still capture sound evenly across the entire drum kit. This closer position results in stronger signal from the drum kit and therefore less bleed from the stage.

4055 Kick Drum Microphone 

A flexible, professional mic that captures the power and true sound of the kick drum when placed inside or outside the drum. The 4055 is one of the only kick drum mics that is not sonically pre-tailored to fit a traditional sound in a specific genre. Its low frequency response and dynamics are superb and result in a tight, natural, well-defined sound – the best low-end with detailed mids and highs.

4099 Instrument Microphone 

The 4099 perfectly captures the booming sounds of drums and percussive instruments. The mic can be easily positioned to fit diverse types of drums and excel on the snare, toms and hi-hats. The flexible gooseneck can be positioned at different angles to allow a variety of sound nuances. The mic is elegant, lightweight, unobtrusive and designed to stay out of the way during performance.
