The DPA CORE 4099 Accordion Microphone kit is the result of DPA’s extensive research and development into creating the ultimate clip on microphone for live accordion performance and studio recordings.

It includes a pair of “Loud SPL” 4099 variation microphones, which have a dynamic range of 108dB and can withstand up to 142dB before clipping. The CORE by DPA amplifier technology assists in the production of a very transparent sound so that even in the unlikely event of spill, there are no unnatural harsh frequencies to deal with.

The capsule contains a highly directional capsule designed for use on stage settings where other instruments and monitoring may be in close proximity. The pick up pattern of the capsule ensures maximum isolation of the accordion, with CORE technology providing low self-noise and high gain before feedback.

The ingenious mounting system is designed to securely attach the gooseneck microphones to each side of the accordion by way of a rubber coated clips.
